Netstock receives widely recognized ISO 27001 certification

The certification validates Netstock’s commitment to its customers’ high-level data security policies and procedures.

Netstock, a leading supply chain planning software provider for businesses globally, today announced the achievement of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification at its first attempt and with no non-conformities.

Achieving the ISO 27001 certification demonstrates to Netstock customers that an independent third party has evaluated our security controls to attest to the fact that we have implemented controls to support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customer’s information,” says Yolande Sowden, IT Security and Risk Manager at Netstock. “Our certification demonstrates that we are fully committed to our security controls.”

The ISO, International Organization for Standardization, certification is an internationally approved and recognized information security standard with adoption worldwide.

By achieving the ISO 27001 certification, we’re able to emphasize to our customers that we treat their information with the utmost care. Customers trust us with sensitive information about their business, and this achievement shows that we are one of the few companies in the industry that takes our customers’ trust seriously – Barry Kukkuk, Co-founder of Netstock.

The ISO 27001 certification is one of the best ways to showcase a company’s commitment to its information security policies. It gets an exceptional reputation because it’s challenging to attain and remain accredited.

By achieving the ISO27001 certification, Netstock shows its customers and prospects that the company and its employees comply with the identified controls, policies, and procedures to keep all personal data and customer inventory data safe and secure.

“All software companies should strive to conform to ISO 27001. With increasing cyber attacks and supply chain vulnerabilities, Netstock aims to provide its customers with a completely independent view of how customer information and security will be treated,” states Spencer James, Director of Engineering at Netstock.

Being ISO 27001 certified means Netstock has invested in its security policies and procedures and will participate in regular follow-up audits to ensure the company maintains a high information security standard.
